These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Budgetmonger iPhone app and related services (the "Service") provided by Budgetmonger ("Budgetmonger," "we," "our," or "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility and personal-use status

The Service is currently developed for personal use and is not generally available. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use it. Access may be limited or revoked at any time.

You are responsible for keeping your password and trusted-device tokens confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Connected accounts and Plaid

The Service uses Plaid Inc. to connect to your financial institutions. By linking an account, you authorize Budgetmonger to access account information through Plaid in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Plaid's End User Privacy Policy. You can disconnect a linked institution at any time from within the app.

Information shown in the Service (balances, transactions, categories, budgets, summaries) is provided for informational and personal-budgeting purposes only and does not constitute financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Always verify amounts against your bank or broker of record before making decisions.

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data refreshed via Plaid will be accurate, complete, or timely. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Budgetmonger disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You assume all responsibility and risk for your use of the Service.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Budgetmonger and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising out of your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed one hundred US dollars ($100).

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at our discretion, with or without notice, including if we believe you have violated these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, communicated to you by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
